Today is Halloween and happy Halloween to
all of you. Are you still excited about the Halloween oranges? Tell you a
surprise, this year a new color orange will come to your sight: blue.
Why blue? It symbolizes Food Allergy
Research and Education’s new national campaign. It aims at telling people how important
it is to try an alternative non-food treats for those children with food
allergies.
The campaign is encouraging people to
display blue teal pumpkins or paint their pumpkins blue. For those with
allergies to pumpkins, plastic pumpkins are an alternative which can easily be
painted blue with acrylic or spray paints, according to FARE.
